Each season tells a story worth remembering for generations. I have always wanted to read Different Seasons by Stephen King. I had heard it was different than his more notable works, so I picked up the stories of haunted hotels, telepathic teens, vampires, and ghosts first since I am a horror fan (although later on in life I have read many fiction without horror). So I finally read Different Seasons . I believe King wanted to maybe distance himself from being labeled--only labeled as a horror writer, so he came up with some stories that stray away from his domain. However, two of the stories (Apt Pupil & The Breathing Method) scream of horror. Finding a dead body and being swarmed with blood sucking leeches is also horror. Being convicted for a long stretch of time inside a prison with "the Sisters" is horror, too.
